Building a culture of innovation in K-12, postsecondary schools and after school programs.
Innovation and creativity requires space and opportunities to try new things and learn from it.
From 2020-2024, teachers, support staff and students were invited to experiment and play.
2010-2013, working with after school programs, we designed digital badges to assess and recognize learning outside of schools (see Chicago Architecture Foundation report).
2007-2010, I was fortunate to work on a brilliant team of designers and researchers and as an ethnographic researcher. Research informed programmatic design. Findings were published in a book and in journals.
